Global Experiences' Internships program in Rome, Italy
Rome is the capital of Italy and is the fourth most populous city in the European Union. Many of the country's largest corporations are headquartered in Rome and it also has a thriving start-up scene.
It is a global city, and was the third most visited city in the EU in 2016. Millions of tourists visit Rome every year, as it has a history that spans 28 centuries. Rome is also one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in Europe. It is home to the Vatican City which is not a city at all, but its own independent country right in the heart of Rome. It also has some of the most famous historical sites in the world, including the Colosseum, which was the most popular tourist attraction in the world in 2018 with 7.4 million visitors.
If you want to really get to know Italy, then Rome should be on the top of your list. Rome is the capital city and the finest showcase for all of the best things that Italy has to offer. Sample cuisines from all over Italy, lose yourself in the winding streets of the Trastevere, visit the smallest country in the world, The Vatican City, which lies in the heart of Rome, and explore ancient Roman ruins. There is something for everyone in the vibrant heart of the country.
Make your dreams of living and working abroad a reality with an internship in the spring, summer, or fall. Come experience everything the vibrant and exciting city of Rome has to offer with an international internship through Global Experiences.
As the capital city and business hub of Italy, Rome has a wide range of internship opportunities in Business, Marketing, Communications, Fashion, Art, Design, Architecture. Experience living and working abroad, and make your resume stand out with an international internship in Rome this spring, summer, or fall.
Housing: Rome is a large European city with most residents living in apartments, and many of the homes being over 100 years old. To ensure interns can experience "living like the locals," we include housing in student apartments located near main areas, or close to public transport lines. Interns can expect to live in a shared bedroom in a shared apartment with other participants on the Global Experiences program, or other students attending language or study programs in the city. The apartments will have a shared kitchen and the necessary amenities, including Wi-Fi. All participants take a roommate questionnaire to help our team assess the right housing match for you. If you have any special needs, please mention this to a staff member at your time of application and we will discuss accommodation options available.
